I was asked to take part in the book, 'Push: stitchery' some months ago– it's a collection of embroiderers and stitchers gathered by Jamie Chalmers of Mr. X stitch. It will be on the shelves this September, but you can have a bit of a sneak peak over on Amazon!
Maybe you've noticed already, but YES that is a piece of mine on the cover!

I just did this piece for the current issue of American Medical News. The article was about creating a 'home base' for patients who require lots of medical attention. The patient would visit single practitioner who would organize specialist visits, medications, files and so forth. Annemarie, the AD asked me to illustrate the type 'sampler' style. I don't often get the chance to do any 'proper' embroidery so I had a good time experimenting. Check out the spread below!
