A species of trapdoor spiders have been named after Neil Young: Myrmekiaphila neilyoungi! They were discovered by biologist, Jason Bond, in Jefferson County, Alabama– take that Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I just did this piece for the current issue of American Medical News. The article was about creating a 'home base' for patients who require lots of medical attention. The patient would visit single practitioner who would organize specialist visits, medications, files and so forth. Annemarie, the AD asked me to illustrate the type 'sampler' style. I don't often get the chance to do any 'proper' embroidery so I had a good time experimenting. Check out the spread below!
