knitted pouf
I've just gotten back from Salem, Mass. and finally got a chance to photograph my finished knitted pouf! It was amazingly easy to make... click HERE for the instructions again. I think if I get my hands on a ton of this wool yarn again, I'll be making a matching blanket... the tripled worsted weight yarn on the 17 needles made for an amazingly thick knit!

Still acclimating to Brooklyn. Here are more photos from the rust belt!
-- Molly Stark (a tuberculosis hospital in the 1930s and later a sanatorium now owned by the parks system) -- a detail of a dress I made -- Hartville and the Hartville flea market so much to see there... (way too much to dig through to bother with taking many photos) -- the ring and mini indian head penny earrings I found there -- Science Hill (a one room school house around the corner from where I grew up) -- the best sweetcorn (from Thornberry farm down the street)
