One thing extremely amiss about NYC is the total lack of those great all-encompassing craft stores which are so ubiquitous in the midwest! But I've finally found a Michael's that's not all that far from me here in Bushwick– and it's attached to a Trader Joe's to boot. It was a bit of a trek (because I wanted to walk instead of take the bus) but well worth it– so cheery outside the other day!
If you feel so inclined: Take the M to Metrpoplitian Ave/ Middlevillage and walk east to the Woodhaven Blvd intersection. MAP
